:: Happy Thanksgiving ::

Ok, so I am a little late on the thanksgiving post... I was trying to wait until I got some more pics from my sister from my grandparents house, since I was so busy talking and chasing our little man who is walking all over the place, that I forgot to take any pictures :)

I am so thankful for my family, and Buddy's family who are SO supportive of Buddy myself and Brogan. We couldn't do it without you guys! We love you very much! I am also very thankful for a faithful God, who even in hard times, will always be there. I am thankful for health, that we have all managed to survive this year without any major bumps or bruises (minus a sprained ankle that was all shades of purple) We all have so much to give thanks for this year, and every year!

First we had dinner over at my house. We eat early in the day, since most of the time us kids have another Thanksgiving -or 2 in our case- to go to later! While we were preparing DELICIOUS meal #1 Daddy and Brogan hung out and watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and a little football of course!




At my house we were fortunate enough to have my Uncle Don(my dad's oldest brother) and his daughter Emma over! What a great surprise that was! We had the doorbell ring just as we were sitting down and were so excited because we didn't know if they were going to make it or not!



After we let our food settle for a little bit, it was off to the other side for some more TURKEY and fixins!



Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for some more pie and ham sandwiches :) The last in a long tradition of Thanksgiving open houses at their house- Our family has simply grown too big for their Condo! There were 32 of us there this year!




When we had our fill, we traveled back home and let the triptophene kick in from the turkey... needless to say we all had a VERY good nights sleep :)

::Thanksgiving 2008 ::

:: * S * N * O * W * ::

When we woke up this morning there wasn't any snow on the ground, by 11:30 there was already 3 inches! HOW FUN! Mom turned on the Christmas music and after we picked up daddy, we went outside to have some wintery fun!
Brogan wasn't too sure about the snow at first, with the crunchy noises it was making (good packing snow) and all the layers of clothing that he had on made it hard to move! He sure is a cutie though!

Buddy thought that it would quite funny to throw some snowballs since it was such good packing snow, but we got him back!! Then we decided to build Brogan's first snowman together!!!

:: WALKING ::

AND HE'S OFF!!! Thats right, the little man (who is not so little any more) is walking!!! Still very wobbly and he's only gone about 10 steps in a row, but MAN are we in for it!!! He really started taking off today!

He took his first few steps Nov 3rd, but it was just 2 little teeny ones trying to get to grandpa ...

he took one little teeny pivot step in this one!!!

and then wouldn't do it again we tried and tried to get a video hahaha

Then today I picked him up from the sitters and she said he had just taken off from the chair to the toy box and was doing it all day long in increments of 3!! So we decided to video it when we got home- heres what we GOT! :) my little man 10 MONTHS AND WALKING :)

:: Brogan's first craft ::

Brogan did a craft this past week at the babysitters with Andrew... it was a tasty treat too! They did finger painting with Chocolate pudding on a picture of an acorn..

Today is a very important day in the history of our country. It will be a first of one kind or another! And its very exciting to me that this is the first time I have voted!! EVERYONE GET OUT THERE AND BE HEARD! You can't complain about the results if you haven't voted! :)

::Changing of the Seasons ::

Today was BEAUTIFUL out! So Brogan and I had the opportunity to go out and play in the sunshine today! We made a big leaf pile! Although Brogan liked eating the leaves more than he liked jumping in them, the pictures turned out great! I love the fall :)
