The laughter of adults was always very different from the laughter of children. The former indicated a recognition of the familiar, but in children it came from the shock of the new.

:: Happy Father's Day ::

Buddy is not able to be here this fathers day since he is out in Iowa playing football, so Brogan wanted to send him a message this way to say HAPPY FATHERS DAY, WE MISS YOU, AND LOVE YOU!!!

::: SWIMMING :::

.:* My "Side" Smile *:.

Brogan looked so cute in his new swimsuit and matching t-shirt!! We went to Michelle's house since she is home from CO for a few weeks and went swimming!! We found a neat little raft at Meijers that has rings and balls for him to play with and he chilled right out. Didn't cry at ALL! He was a little unsure of it at first but quickly got used to it and even started laughing after a while!

:: 4 Months ::

WOW 4 months already here are his new stats!

Length: 26 inches

Weight: 16 lbs 12 3/4 ozs= BIGG BOY

Head: Big and BALD: Still no hair hahaha our poor little charlie brown :)

Dr. J'Amiee said that she is verrry impressed by how social and adjusted he is to everyone and everything. She said that he is VERY strong for his age, and we need to make sure we have the house baby proofed very soon because he is most likely going to be an early mover! His motor skills are very good as well!

This has been a month FULL of new things:

I LOVE to stand.... don't put me on your lap or try to hold me close... i am very active and like to stand on my feet! I push away!

reaching for people. Brogan is starting to show preference for who he wants to go to although he loves everyone he is starting to reach for people he wants to go to now!

HAIR PULLING- if u have long hair watch out! I pull and I pull hard and don't let go!

Brogan has a new voice... not just gurgles and goo's but actually looking at people trying to carry on a conversation it seems like, and high pitched screams when he gets excited!

Size 2's! Were now in size 2 diapers and almost out of them already!

Rolling over consistently, if we leave him on his stomach we'll most likely find him on his back with his toes in his hands

HE FOUND HIS TOES!! and loves them! plays with them all the time holds things up with them, and tries to put them in his mouth but his legs arn't long enough to reach! haha

Sleeping without his swaddler blanket. It's been 1 week now that he's slept through the night without it! I kept waking up to him wiggled completely out of it so i thought he might be trying to tell me he was ready to sleep without it!

LAUGHING!!! He has the cutttttest belly laugh anyone did hear and brings TONS of smiles and joy to anyone that hears it, Family, friends, and the complete stranger that stops to "chat"

Juice! We started giving him some pear juice to help him "digest" better, anddddd he loves it!

and Yesterday we got to start him on Cereal, he was a little unsure of it at first, but after one bite... he LOVED it so much that he grabbed the spoon and got mad when i wasn't pushing it in fast enough.... it was a messy experience to say the least but... the bath tub afterwards cleaned him RIGHTTT up! Here's a video!

::Introduction::

Although his life was unplanned Brogan has brought so much joy to ours. We found out we were pregnant May 21st, 2007, and what a shock that was. Looking back on that time now, as i look into his big blue eyes, I don't think we ever could have known what happiness he would bring with his arrival. I worked right up until my water broke at 4:40pm on January 15th. My heart was beating so fast as Buddy met me at my house (after i had to call and pull him out of an interview to let him know it was "TIME", he got the phone call he had wanted! Since I was scheduled to have an induction on the Thursday following and we both really wanted it to happen naturally. We got to the hospital between 6 and 6:30 and i was dilated to 5. After I got the epidural around 8:30 -9 I dilated to 10 within the hour, but was so numb that I could not feel my contractions to push. Poor Brogan was stuck there for another 3 hours with his head just trying to come out! We turned down the epidural, and when I could feel enough to push, it only took 1 hour and our baby boy was delivered into this world by his Daddy and Grandma Wood at 1:51 am on January 16th 2008. Grandma R and Aunt Chelsea and Aunt Brooke were also there to share that special moment and capture it with photographs and video. The rest of the family came in shortly after. What an amazing experience this has been...
