:: NMU vs Ferris ::

Saturday Morning came all to soon! After a quick whirlwind trip we were bringing Buddy back up to Big Rapids. But not until Daddy fed Brogan breakfast and watched a couple Saturday morning cartoons. Buddy's personal favorite is "My friends tigger and pooh" he likes the super sleuths :)

So nice to see Megs and Vaness at the game, and finally to meet little Quincy!

Daddy and Brogan spent some time alone together before he had to take off after the quick trip down... We MISS YOU!

:: Chuck E Cheese and Cousin DJ ::

Well lets just say Chuck E Cheese is one of the WORST PLACES EVER! Maybe it was just becuase we were there on a Friday night and it was packed wall to wall with kids. My cousin DJ was home from Germany. He got married while he was on duty for the war. This is the first time that his Wife, Mona, was able to bring her daughter Kate to the states, so we had a BIG birthday party for her while she was here!


It was so nice to be able to see everyone as we don't get together with my dad's side of the family as much as we want to, since everyone is so scattered now!

Also while we were there, guess who showed up! DADDY! He hitched a ride home with one of the Northern fans, and had his sister pick him up from Big Rapids, as the team was playing Ferris the next day. What a Great SUPRISE!

:: Big Boy Carseat! ::

After the park, we noticed Brogan's legs were getting kind of scrunched up against the seat, so since he is such a big boy, we got him a BIG BOY CARSEAT. Auntie Chelsea just got a job at Toys R Us!!! And we love the discount here are some pictures!

Auntie Chelsea is such a spoiler! She came home with a bunch of goodies for Brogan! She got him a bunch of blocks and he loves them. He loves to knock them down, and of course chew on them :)

::Hager Park::

On Saturday, a girlfriend of mine from work and her kids, came to Hagar Park in Jenison with Brogan my sister Chelsea and Me. It was SO much fun, and the kids just had a blast! We used to go there when I was younger and ABSOLUTLY loved the big wooden castle! Which is why we fondly remember it as “the castle park”

Brogan just LOVES swinging on the swings! He gets to do it a lot at the babysitters house during the week with Andrew! Lily wanted to be pushed by Isaiah, they were being so cute! We even got all three kids to look at the camera at the same time while swinging, CHEESE!

Lily and Isaiah were running around and having a GREAT TIME going down the slides, and on the tire swings! Even us “ Old Moms” were monkeying around!






Brogan liked the sand, and there was a wooden boat with a steering wheel that he LOVED because he could “drive” it, just like his car at home!

Needless to say we had a bunch of tired kiddos on the way home :) In fact they almost fell asleep on the way home!

:: BIG OLE TOOFERS ::

BROGAN CUT HIS 2nd TOOTH TODAY!!! And I got a picture of both of them with the help of Morgann and some tricky maneuvering while feeding him his Sunday dinner of turkey and rice!!!

:: Buddy's weekend home from school ::

This weekend, buddy was able to rent a car and make it home for the weekend(despite the ridiculous gas prices, now up over 4 bucks a gallon and almost 5 in some places) We were glad to see him and so happy to have him home for a little while!

We had a weekend full of events! Auntie Ashley turned 21 this week so we had a party for her on Saturday! Also on Saturday my friend Lindsay and Andy got married, so Buddy and I were able to go to that! It was a lot of fun! Then Buddy returned home late last night/early morning so he was able to study for an exam Monday. Brogan had such a fun time with him while he was here. Daddy woke up with him every morning to be the first one to get him from his crib and feed him breakfast! He just had the cutest/biggest smile on his face when Buddy first got here! like "HEY DADDY WHERE DID YOU COME FROM" :)

:: Brogan and Andrew feed the Ducks ::

Today at the sitters Megan took Brogan and Andrew to feed the ducks at the park! It finally warmed up a bit so they got to go this afternoon. Here are the picture from the park and some from them playing today and yesterday... ENJOY! I did!

:: First Day at the Sitters ::

Well Brogan seemed to L.O.V.E the sitters! When I picked him up he was all smiles! Megan and her family are so nice! Little Andrew and Brogan had such a good time playing through the day, and she even sent me pictures while I was at work to keep me updated and confident that Brogan was having a good time! I can tell that we are a lot alike in our parenting styles, which is GREAT! Here are some pictures that she sent me of Brogan playing before his afternoon nap yesterday....

:: A week with Andrea ::

My friend Andrea was able to watch Brogan for a few days last week before she heads off to CALIFORNIA in October after the wedding!! Its so nice to have such caring and helpful friends!
She took this picture while they were outside one day, and its one of my new favorites!!! I just thought I would share it with all of my faithful blog followers :)

::Bathtime, and Crawling on all 4's ::

We haven't had any bath time pictures on here since his very 1st bath!! Brogan loves his bath/ or shower with mom. He loves the water! We don't use his baby bath tub sling anymore because he can sit up, and he loves the freedom, he tries to crawl around in the bath tub, and now that he's pulling up he tries to climb out! But most of the time he will contently sit and play with his washcloth frog and his duckie and splash splash splash....

At bath time, we sing our little song...Splash Splash Splash get all clean!!! Wash Wash Wash get all clean... Brogan loves music so we sing lots of songs all the time!

Now after bath time tonight, I thought it would be funny to get on the floor and video tape what it looks like from his view when Brogan is "flopping" (crawling) around on the floor since he is so mobile now... Can you see what I didn't in this next video?!?!! My mom pointed it out to me when I uploaded it onto the computer, another first......

THATS RIGHT!!! HE WAS CRAWLING ON ALL 4'S!!! I totally missed it while trying to get him to look back at me! Well time to put the little Monster to bed... NIGHT EVERYONE!! I promise next time it won't take so long to update!
